1. New mentees arriving soon – and they need you!
The new winter term is coming, and many international students will join RWTH as freshmen. Most of them will sign up for the BeBuddy program and wait to be matched – maybe with you? If you're based in Aachen and would like to support one or more mentees, please update your Buddy profile in the database or send us an email with your availability and the number of mentees you'd like to support: bebuddy@rwth-aachen.de Important: You need to have completed the BeBuddy training beforehand. As a Buddy, you’ll not only support newcomers but also meet other Buddies at our events, announced via the monthly newsletter. Plus, you’ll receive a certificate – also valid for the Certificate International. |

The requirements: at least 2nd semester, B1 level in German, and successful completion of the virtual BeBuddy training. Interested? 3. National Social Program – Creative Minds Wanted
Ever heard of the National Social Program (NSP)? This year, it’s happening right here in Aachen – and you can be part of it! From August 22–24, 2025, local exchange officers and international students from around the world will come together to celebrate cultural exchange, connection, and learning. The organizing team is currently putting together a diverse and exciting program — and they’re looking for input! Got a great idea for a workshop or activity? Or want to get involved in organizing? Your support will not only be greatly appreciated, but can also count as participation in a student association for the Certificate International. 📩 Interested?
